What does 'custom design' mean?
Quite simply, a custom design invitation is one that you will not find on my site. It is created by working closely with you to design the invitation of your dreams, an invitation that is a unique reflection of your day, your theme, and your personal style.

 

 

How does the custom process work?

Fill out the contact form or email me.
 

Consultation

By emails, phone, or in person, we will meet to discuss your vision and the details on which stationery pieces you need. My goal is to create the perfect invitation to reflect your style, so the more details you can provide the better.
 

Design

You will receive an invoice for a $30 design fee. Once I receive this payment, I will begin work on your design. Within 1-2 weeks, I will send you a proof with your initial design concept. I will work closely with you to incorporate any changes you may have to revise the design into a final version.
 

Final Proof & Approval

Once you are happy with your design proof, I will email you a final copy of the proof. Carefully review it for any spelling, grammar, or information error.
 

Deposit

Once you approve the final proof, a 50% deposit is required before printing can begin.
 

Printing & Production

Once the deposit is received, printing and production will commence.
 

Final Payment & Pick up or Shipping

Once your order is completed, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance as well as your shipping costs (if applicable). You can pick up your order, or I will ship your order within one business day, once payment is received.

 

 

How much does a custom invitation cost?
Due to the individual nature of custom designs, there is no price list for these items. There is a $30 design fee for any custom order. I can provide you with a quote after you have contacted me and we have discussed your needs.

 

When should I order my custom invitations?
I recommend ordering custom invitations 3-4 months before your desired mailing date.

 

How long will it take to receive my custom invitations?
The design of your custom invitation can take up to a month depending on the design and your availability for communication. After this, printing and production takes about 2-6 weeks from when proofs are approved, and varies depending upon the invitation style and the amount of assembly required.
